Registration FAQ

Registration is open from early January each year. Please register here.

Does each player need to register ?

Yes. Each player must register and pay before they can train or play.

When should I register ?

Registration opens in early January. You should register as soon as possible and ideally by the end of February. This gives our volunteers time to find an appropriate team and communicate with you about training etc. If you leave it too long, your player’s football experience will not be as good (you may miss out on a place in a team, and on pre-season events). To register, click here.

What are the fees?

Fees vary depending on age, and are listed here. They are calculated using information from the Northern Suburbs Football Association (NSFA) and local councils (for ground hire). The club aims to keep fees as low as possible while providing a quality experience.

What do the fees cover?
  • a full season of training/coaching
  • registration in the NSFA competition (includes match day ground hire)
  • insurance
  • affiliation fees to NSFA, Football NSW and Football Australia
  • training ground hire
  • playing shirt
  • trophies
  • referee fees
  • for development teams, there are additional coaching costs

How do I pay?

You must pay online with your credit card at the same time you register. Alternative arrangements may be possible, but it creates a lot of work for our volunteers. Out of consideration for our volunteers, we ask that you pay at the time you register.

Are there family discounts? Is any other assistance possible?

If your family has three or more players registering for the same season, you are eligible for a 10% rebate on all your fees. To claim the rebate, register in full, then email registrar@kpfc.asn.au with player names, age groups, your BSB and account number.

If you need financial assistance, please let us know. There is a process in place to help you. Email registrar@kpfc.asn.au

Do I need to provide proof of identity?

New players to the club must provide proof of age and identity.  Valid documents are birth certificate, passport or driver’s licence.  Please email registrar@kpfc.asn.au with a photo of the proof of age document or bring a copy to the first training session for verification. It is highly recommended you email us at the time you register.

Proof of identity and a valid photo are essential for all players U12 and up for the Electronic Match Card.

Which age group applies to my child?

This will be calculated by the system when you register. You can also check the Age Group Table. It is possible to play up one age group and you should add this in the details at registration. Some age groups may have size limits and you may be wait-listed until a complete team can form.

When does the season start and finish?

Pre-season training starts in March. The season typically starts in early April and finishes in September. Refer to our dates page for details.

What if I’m transferring from another club?

If you are transferring at the beginning of the season, follow the new player registration.

If you are transferring during the season, your previous club must release you prior to registering with Kissing Point FC. Please ask your previous club to complete release procedures otherwise you cannot re-register.

What if I’m transferring from another country (U12 and up)?

If you last played overseas (even if not for an associated competition) you must complete an International Transfer Application. When you register online, you must state that you last played overseas and provide the required details. Be sure to completely and correctly fill in the registration questions. Failure to provide these details at registration time will delay your registration. There are additional requirements for U12 to U18 players. Please register, then email the registrar@kpfc.asn.au for these.

Can my daughter play Saturdays and Sundays?

Girls can play in the Mixed Competition on Saturday or the Girls Competition on Sunday, or both, under one single registration.

When and where is training?

Community teams train once a week. Development teams train twice a week. When and where depends on your age group. Check the schedule here.

What clothing and equipment will I need?

Your team manager will lend you a match shirt, which you must return at the end of the season. You’ll need to buy shorts and socks from us. You’ll also need boots and shin pads. Details here.

What are the expectations on me as a parent?

Ensure your child attends training and fixtures. If your child is unwell or your family is away, please let your manager know.

Provide a positive example for your child, per our Code of Conduct.

As a volunteer club, everyone is expected to volunteer some time during the season. Please answer the call when asked:

. When your team is rostered on for BBQ duty on Friday nights. It is only a couple of hours, and only one night of the season.

. If your team requires a coach or manager.

. When helpers are needed for kit packing or working bees.

Please consider volunteering for a committee or coordinator role.
