Club Policies

Kissing Point FC has policies, processes and people to ensure the club is safe, fair and inclusive. We do not tolerate discrimination or harassment, and we take child safety and inclusion very seriously.

Code of conduct

Everyone involved with the club (players, parents, spectators, volunteers) must act in accordance with the FFA National Member Protection Policy. It contains a Code of Conduct which outlines expectations of behaviour. Put simply, it asks that we respect one another. Other club policies are listed below.

Education

All our members should understand what it takes to create a safe, fair and inclusive club. At the start of each season, we email everyone about this, and we cover this topic in pre-season presentations.

The Play by the Rules website has resources and free online training about discrimination, harassment, child safety and inclusion. All adult members, and particularly coaches and managers, are encouraged to be familiar with the content of the Play By The Rules website.

Our coaches and managers are asked to complete the Play by the Rules Child Protection Online Course (approx 1.5 hours).

Committee members are asked to complete additional online courses.
