Girls

We look forward to welcoming your daughter to Kissing Point FC. With a strong focus on football for girls, and a wide range of options, she’s sure to love playing The Beautiful Game with us.

In 2022, Kissing Point FC was awarded NSFA’s Female Football award, recognising our commitment to female football. Click here to read an article about our ethos.

Girls-only football (Sunday mornings)

All-girls, non-competition small-sided football. Training Friday evenings at Auluba. For each of these age groups, our ideal is to have both a ‘Community Team’ with training once a week, and a ‘Development Team’. Development teams have twice weekly training sessions focussing on skills and game awareness. They are part of the pathway to Diamond League (see below).

Girls-only football (Sunday mornings)

All-girls competition football, with G12 on slightly smaller fields, and older age groups on full-sized fields. At each of these age groups, our ideal is to have a ‘Community Team’ with training once a week, a ‘Development Team’ with twice weekly training, and a ‘Diamond League’ team with twice weekly training. Development teams are part of the pathway to Diamond League (see below).

diamond League

Diamond League is for development-minded players who want to play in the top division for their age group. Trials are typically held in November in readiness for the following Winter season. Registration for Community teams opens in January.

Kissing Point FC partners with Turramurra United FC in a Diamond League joint venture.

There are additional costs associated with Diamond League to support the additional coaching, and there are expectations on players in terms of attendance and attitude at training and games. Diamond League teams receive:

  • XLR8 training and game day coach
  • at least 20 weeks of 2 nights a week coaching
  • 15 weeks of matches plus gala days (+ pre-season trial games)
  • Dedicated female coaching coordinator

Players will be graded according to past performance and trial results, however, due to demand and grading we may not be able to accommodate every player into a DL or Dev team.
