This is it! Round one kicks off this weekend and all the waiting, working and training will finally be worth it. I wish everyone all the very best. I know you’ll make your club proud, and I’m sure you’ll have a tonne of fun.
Your manager will share details of matches with you. You can also look up the draw (and results) yourself, at the following links. I highly recommend bookmarking the mobile version on your phone – it has clickable links with directions to grounds.
If your match or training session is cancelled due to wet weather, your manager will tell you. Please wait on advice from your manager.
Health and safety update
The restrictions on contact have been lifted, but social distancing and hygiene remain critical. Handshakes, huddles and high fives are not allowed. Please stand apart when watching games. If players are sick they must stay home. There will be sanitiser at Auluba, Howson and Comenarra, and there is a bottle in every Miniroos and Junior kit bag. Having said that, we strongly advise all families to BYO sanitiser. Please use it frequently, especially before eating. Everyone needs to be proactive and take a common-sense approach.
G6/G7 Intro to football this Friday @ 5pm

Attention Junior and Senior teams. Each Saturday and Sunday, Auluba, Howson and Comennara ovals need to be ‘dressed’ prior to the first game and ‘undressed’ after the last game. This involves putting up and taking down nets and flags. Junior and Senior teams scheduled to play first and last at each field will be rostered on to do this. It’s easy, and doesn’t take long. During the week, our grounds controller, Chris Merrigan, will email instructions to the managers of teams on duty that weekend.

Tell us how your team went and share your stories. For Miniroos (u6-u11), no details of results or scores – just stories about Kisso spirit.

If you have not paid your registration fee, please do so before the weekend. Players with unpaid fees will receive an email from the club with instructions.
We will provide an update about refunds after round 6. We have been looking at how to revise the registration fee, considering reduced NSFA team fees, slightly increased ground fees, lower collaborative coach fees, and other costs (equipment etc). We estimate the refund will be:
- Miniroos and Juniors $30
- Seniors $70
We are still waiting to hear about FFA/FNSW fees. This may affect the final amount, and we need to have this information before we offer refunds. We will update you after round 6, and outline your options eg EFT, carry over to 2021 or donate to the club.
